Angela (Rutanya Alda) house or is Linda house not quite sure!

After much research on the internet the above location was found to be shot at
Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, PA

We had an e-mail from Ron Henry, telling us "The actual location of above is
is located on WV Route 2, this street runs off of in north Weirton.
I google mapped, and found the trailer location was 2nd St., just north of Ave. "A".
Second St. turns into Main St. just after intersecting Ave. "A". Again,
if you go there you'll recognize the brick building at the bottom of the hill
immediately (unless it gets torn down, it looks to have been vacant for some time.
.....the scene is relatively unchanged ex. for the trailer being gone, I suspect it was a prop.
We love this movie, can't believe there's this kind of interest in the locations."
We had an e-mail from Tom Breiding who sent in the photograph below right, Tom says
'This photo was a complete accident. I knew the Deer Hunter had been
filmed across the river in Mingo, but I didn't know Weirton.
I took the photos just last month because they are in the process of
tearing down the blast furnaces there. I watched the movie on
HBO last week and recognized the site right away.
I googled and found your site. It was so cool when I saw your stills
from the movie and compared it to my photo. The windows and doorways
on the brick building assured me it was the same site.

Thanks to Daniel Marinacci who visited his home state of Weirton, West Virginia in May 2009
and took these snap shots of how the area looks now.
As you can see many of the buildings are still standing and the area which the trailer
would have sat is overgrown and I think a substation has been built in it's place.

The Eagle Supermarket
Linda works at the Eagle Supermarket

As you can see this supermarket is still standing and is located on
Starweather Ave, Cleveland, OH 44113.
The top right still is the road located next to the supermarket,
on our adventure somehow we missed taking a photo of this road.
This road was also used as a location when Michael and his friends
run after the wedding car.
