Connie from New York contacted us "Tom Hank's character in You've Got Mail lives at 152 Riverside Dr,
which doesn't actually exist. However, it was filmed on 93rd at Riverside on the north side of
the street. When he leaves his apartment, he is walking from the Riverside direction toward
West End. I live on street south and stumbled upon this." Thanks Connie

Starbucks
"The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision-making ability
whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee.
Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low-fat, non-fat, etc. So people who don't
know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are, can, for only $2.95,
get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self:
Tall! Decaf! Cappuccino!"

Verdi Square was built in 1887 and named after Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi in 1921
Which consists of a fenced off area containing bushes, trees, and a statue of its namesake
surrounded by four of the characters from his operas. The fence is girded by benches
which served as a gathering place for musicians like Caruso and Toscanini at the
beginning of this century, while more recently the periphery has been an on and off haven
for petty drug dealers.

The interior of Foxes book was filmed at Barney?s (A very large fashion chain)
on the corner of 17th street and 7th Avenue. Barneys filled for bankruptcy
as shooting for this film got underway so the building was empty and the production
crew moved in creating Fox books.
